Shoals Club Aquatics
On the club's South Beach side, a covered verandah opens onto a series of cascading terraces that descend to a spacious lap pool and shallow children's pool. The nearby Sandbar Grille with its covered pergola offers a shady spot to enjoy poolside food and beverage service.
Families are drawn from the pool area to the shore's edge by a private wooden boardwalk that extends from the clubhouse directly to the island's South Beach. For members' convenience, towel service is offered at the pool, and chairs and umbrellas are available to take to the beach.
UPDATE APRIL, 2023--A Note about the Shoals Club Beach - The Shoals Club has experienced some changes to the beach over the past few months. We are working together as a community with the Village of BHI, the Conservancy, coastal engineers, civil engineers, club leadership, and professionals to explore options, and seek permits for appropriate short-term and long-term plans. For your safety, we ask that you stay off of the sandbags. Please be aware that we may have to close off beach access from time to time. We will continue to monitor the situation and will report on our progress together.
In addition to its pools, decks and direct beach access, the Shoals Club offers a number of other special amenities for members. On the clubhouse's first floor, separate men's and women's locker rooms are equipped with bathrooms, showers and dressing areas, making it easy for members to change out of a swimsuit after returning from the pool or beach. Conveniently located near the locker rooms is a small fitness room. Ample private parking on the club grounds means members never have to hunt for a cart space before heading out to the beach.
