The Shoals Club
On Bald Head Island
Reached only by passenger ferry, The Shoals Club sits at the edge of an island where no cars are allowed and the maritime forest runs wild to the marsh. Just beyond the Club, Old Baldy has watched over the Cape Fear River for two centuries, and the shoreline remains as undeveloped today as the day it was named.
It is a setting that cannot be replicated — only protected, which is precisely what generations of members have chosen to do.
