2015 Season Off to a Great Start

The 2015 season kicked off with a bang this past Memorial Day Weekend with an Americana Party at the Shoals Club Pool. We enjoyed seeing so many members back at the Shoals Club after a long winter.

We spent the off-season working on upgrades and repairs to the pool complex and infrastructure, resulting in a greatly improved pool experience for all. We've received great comments about the new resin flooring that covers the entire pool deck, along with the rubberized flooring at the locker room entrance, and overall water quality of the pool. In addition to pool improvements, there are improvements to the boardwalk landing area, including an enlarged chair and umbrella staging area and all new beach umbrellas for the season.

Please present your Shoals Club card at the time of service in order to receive the 15% member discount on all food purchases in the Lounge, the Dining Room, and at the Sandbar Grille. This discount applies to full members only. And also, please remember to make advance arrangements for temporary membership for any unaccompanied guests who wish to visit the Shoals Club. Advance arrangements create a smooth process for everyone. Temporary membership rates remain the same as the previous year:

March, November, December - $15 per day (no 2 day minimum)
April through October – rates will be based on the size of the home:
1-3 bedrooms - $25/day with 2 consecutive day minimum or $150/week
4+ bedrooms - $35/day with 2 consecutive day minimum or $200/week
(a crofter is considered a bedroom and is included in the size of the home)
Temporary membership fees include all guests staying in the home during the specified time period.

Annual Passes are available for members’ children who are over the age of 23 and parents, grandparents, and grandchildren of members. Any guests who are accompanying you when you visit the Shoals Club are considered “accompanied guests,” and it is not necessary to make any special arrangements for these guests. Guests who are not accompanied by you must be either temporary members or annual passholders. Annual passes allow unaccompanied access to the Shoals Club at any time during the year and are available to any of the family members mentioned above. The cost of the annual pass is $100 (or $200 for a couple or family). If one of the above-mentioned family members will be visiting the Shoals Club for more than 4 days without you, an annual pass may be the best option. Please contact us to make arrangements for annual passes.

If you have any status or information changes – address, phone number, email address, billing information, etc. – please notify Holly Bullard in the Membership Sales Office at hbullard@bhisland.com or (910) 457-7334.

We look forward to a spectacular season at the Shoals Club where you will experience first-class dining and beach club activities in an incomparable oceanfront setting. The entire Shoals Club staff looks forward to making each of your visits to the Shoals Club a special experience. We hope to see you soon.
